Terms and Conditions - Privacy Policy

Thank you for your interest in Florida Teak wood products. If you have questions or you wish to contact us – Click Here for Contact Info

 – Please note –

ALL WOOD IS ORDERED OFFLINE by phone or email due to the size and wight of the product and the myriad of milling possibilities. We will facilitate the shipment of orders or provide free pickup from our warehouse if the client provides transport.

Payments

We accept payment through PayPal by Visa, MasterCard and American Express – or by money order, check or cash for in-store pickup. To transfer funds by wire, please call for instructions. If paying by check (other than a certified or bank check) we must allow enough time for the check to clear before shipment/delivery will be made. All pricing and payment is for U.S. dollars.  All taxes and customs related fees are the customer’s responsibility. Shipping costs must be determined after an order is placed – see below.

Shipping

Due to the size and wight of wood products, shipping costs must be determined after the order is placed. Shipments exceeding UPS and FedEx weight or size limitations must be shipped by motor freight. We offer free pickup from our warehouse if the client provides transport.

Customers should inspect goods immediately upon arrival for any transit damage. If your order arrives damaged, you should report this to the shipping company at time of delivery and retain the damaged product and packaging for inspection.

Sales Tax

Florida residents without a resale certificate must pay a 7% sales tax. This will be added manually after the order is placed. You will not be charged until you have reviewed and approved the updated order, after tax and shipping charges are added.

Sanction Compliance

Florida Teak complies with all U.S. sanctions regulations and export controls as to transactions with restricted countries, persons and entities (the “Sanctions Laws”), and we expect our partners to conduct business with Florida Teak in accordance with the Sanctions Laws.  Florida Teak may reject at any time any person, entity, product, bank, restricted destination, vessel, port terminal, facility or berth that may cause Florida Teak to be in violation of or be penalized by the Sanctions Laws.  Additional information is available from Florida Teak upon request.
